CAPTAIN HARLAN MARS

Captain of the Terran Protectorate system-class ship Sweet Chariot. Tall, muscular, with jet black hair. His “heroic” good looks have made a lifetime of womanizing and easy out from confronting reality head on. Without fully realizing it, he yearns for more.

Born on the backwater colony New Dallas. After a series of misadventures including a brief bout with the bottle, he earned a reputation as an excellent commercial pilot. Recruited by a Protectorate fleet officer, Harlan eventually made his way to Reagan 3, the seat of Terran Protectorate Admin.

A natural strategist and brilliant tactician, he has distinguished himself in many of the minor skirmishes required to keep “lesser worlds” in line with the Protectorate’s agenda.
